Do implants blend in with the rest of your smile?
Yes, the crown used with the dental implant is color-matched to your surrounding teeth to blend in with your smile and look just like a natural tooth.
How lengthy is the implant process?
The procedure for placing dental implants is completed over 3 appointments, which can take a few months from start to finish. At the first appointment, Dr. Beckham will place anchors where the tooth is missing. These anchors need time to fuse with your jawbone and create a solid foundation. When you come in for the second appointment, titanium posts will be placed on top of the anchors. Finally, you will return for the last appointment during which a crown will be placed on top of the posts. The crown is molded to fit in place of your missing tooth. Although this process can take a few months, the end results are more than worth it!
Are implants affordable?
The added comfort and improved lifestyle patients experience for many years following this procedure speaks to the value of this treatment. Payment plans and other financial options can be discussed if you are unable to pay for the implants upfront. Dental implants may not always covered by dental insurance.
Are implants a permanent solution to missing teeth?
With proper care, implants can last a lifetime. Visiting our office regularly and taking care of the crown can result in your implant lasting for years to come.
